Nadia at the 21st Century Kartini Talk Show

Our CEO, Nadia Febina was invited as one of the speakers for 21st Century Kartini’s first in-person talk show, with the theme “Cinderamata Kartini untuk Dunia” - Kartini’s Souvenir for the World. The event was held on July 29, 2023, in one of Jakarta’s specialised locales in the South of Jakarta, a small library called “Baca Di Tebet Perpustakaan dan Ruang Temu” - Reading in Tebet’s Library.

21st Century Kartini is a community platform for Indonesian women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Their programs consist of talk shows, webinars and mentorship programs for students and young professionals, with the intention to inspire the young generations by providing networking and mentorship opportunities. The name itself, Kartini, is to honour one of the Indonesian heroines, Kartini, a pioneer of women's empowerment in Indonesia.

In “Cinderamata Kartini untuk Dunia” talk show, two guest speakers were invited, the founder of Lumare Energi, Nadia Febina, and an Environmental Specialist at Pertamina, Chiquita Tri Rezki (Chita). Chita is an environmental specialist at Pertamina specialising in environmental control issues and crisis management for oil spills.

This talk show was intended to celebrate inspiring Indonesian women and their remarkable contributions to the community. The discussion during the event was very engaging, which delve more into their personal stories, current endeavors, challenges, and proudest achievements, both professional and personal. The event was a success with a full house, drawing a capacity crowd.
