LUMARE Presented at Bali Fab Fest 2022

It was a privilege for LUMARE to be participating in another big event, which this time will be held in Jimbaran Hub, Bali (October 12-22, 2022).

Organised by the Fab Foundation, the Center for Bits and Atoms of MIT, the Fab City Foundation, and the Meaningful Design Group, Bali Fab Fest is an event that aims to bring global networks of digital fabrication, green technologies, and digital innovation together with Bali’s local innovation ecosystem under the theme ‘Designing Emergent Realities’. In this 10-day long event, there were speakers and participants from 33 countries to discuss ways local challenges can be solved locally and applied globally.

At this special event, the founder of LUMARE, Nadia Febina, spoke about OTEC and discussed various possible ways it can solve Bali’s current challenges through ocean-based clean energy and deep sea water products.
